08 Rugby · questions

Rugby questions.

Useful answers before you send your teamwear brief.

Should I specify the rugby code?

Yes. State union, league, sevens or the format you play, and include any clothing guidance supplied by your organiser. This keeps the garment discussion relevant to your intended use.

How do I explain the jersey fit we want?

Share measurements from a comparable rugby jersey and describe the preferred fit through the chest, body and sleeves. A training T-shirt reference may not communicate the same playing fit.

Can club sponsors and player numbers be included?

Send artwork and a placement plan for each kit version. Identify chest, sleeve and back positions, plus the required number layout, so the design can be reviewed as a complete set.

Do these concepts establish competition approval?

No. They illustrate apparel design direction. Share the requirements that apply to your rugby code and competition; material, construction and any relevant compliance details must be confirmed for the proposed order.

Can we enquire about training and tour clothing too?

Add those garments as separate lines with quantities, sizes and artwork preferences. Note which colours and crest treatments should match the playing kit and which can differ.
